Subs must wait outside the pitch (behind the doors).
• ALL FREE KICKS ARE TAKEN FROM THE SIDELINES.
• ALL FREE KICKS ARE DIRECT- players must stand at least
3 paces from the ball.

while the ball is live- free kick, sideline, if rule broken
• NO SLIDE TACKLING- free kick, sideline.
• D-rule- Goalkeeper not allowed out of D. If goalkeeper

• The ball can be kicked/thrown over at any height.
• Goalkeepers can throw (under and over arm) and kick
the ball at any height.
• Referees have the right to CAUTION (red/yellow card)
any players and must be stringent on this. One red card will
result in a ONE WEEK BAN. Three yellow cards will result in
a ONE WEEK BAN. A one week ban means that the player involved
will not play any of the remaining games of that week and
also any of the games the following week.
• Organisers observe the right to WARN a player. A first
warning will result in a 3 WEEK BAN. Two warnings will result
in player expulsion from the league (no refund given to player).
Organisers are stringent on this and their decision is final.
• Ungentle-manly/un-Islamic conduct: any conduct deemed
ungentle-manly (e.g. shouting ‘mine', losing ones temper,
swearing, showing aggression to other players) can result
in a free kick, penalty, caution or even a warning. This is
to the referees'/organisers' discretion.
• A referee CANNOT authorise a warning- he must approach
the organisers with his complaint.
• Any team(s), having entered the league WILL NOT be
refunded if they choose pull out their team at any point during
the league.
• Numbers- if a team for any reason do not have at least
5 players from their team for their matches, they have two
choices. Either they play with the number of players they
have available or their game is forfeited and they are given
a 3-0 loss. Teams MUST have a minimum of 3 players to play
at all. If they have under 3 players, the game will be forfeited.
• TEAMS DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO FOREFIT any matches.
Any forfeits are as stated in the above conditions or up to
the organisers. Any team wishing to take the rules into their
own hands will be cautioned by THE WHOLE TEAM RECIEVING ONE
YELLOW CARD.
• Teams are NOT allowed to borrow players from other
teams within the league.
• Lateness- teams are given a MAXIMUM time of 5 minutes
after the start of their game to turn up. If 5 minutes are
exceeded, with the team not available to play, the game will
be forfeited with a 3-0 victory to the opposing team.
• When the lights are out; all games are over, regardless
of whether the game has finished at full time or not.
• PENALTIES: ALL PENALTIES are to be taken from the
WHITE LINE and no other coloured line. Players taking the
penality are only permitted ONE STEP before striking the ball.
• Sin Bin Rule: any player who is given a yellow card
must sit out for 2mins, reducing the team to 4 players. The
player may then return to the game after 2mins but will have
a yellow card on his record. The sin binned player cannot
be substituted while he is in the sin bin.
• Disciplinary Committee: Any players who do not keep
to these rules will be referred to the disciplinary committee
who will decide on the fate of that player in the league.
Ignorance of the rules will not be tolerated.
• Swearing: Swearing is completely unacceptable. ANY
swearing will immediately be punished by an automatic YELLOW
CARD and consequent sin bin. No exceptions!
• Assistant Refs: Some games may have the presence of
an assistant ref who will most likely be watching from the
balcony. He will make an input where required.
